A vintage sterling silver ring set with a 1958 sixpence coin.
The sixpence design was introduced in 1953 to mark the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, featuring the rose of England, the thistle of Scotland, the shamrock of Ireland and the leek of Wales. Together these four national emblems symbolise harmony and prosperity across the United Kingdom.
The sides of the setting are decorated with openwork details reminiscent of foliage, enhancing its classical beauty.
Known as the “Lucky Sixpence”, this coin was traditionally placed in the bride’s shoe on her wedding day as a charm for happiness and good fortune. With its timeless, talisman-like presence, this ring makes a meaningful and thoughtful gift.

1958年の6ペンスコインを使ったシルバーリング。
この6ペンスは1953年のエリザベス二世の戴冠を記念して導入されたデザインで、裏面にはイングランドのバラ、スコットランドのアザミ、アイルランドのシャムロック、ウェールズのリーキ（西洋ネギ）が刻まれています。英国4つの国を象徴する植物が集まり、繁栄と調和を意味する縁起の良いモチーフです。
台座のサイドには植物を思わせる透かし細工が施され、クラシカルな美しさを引き立てています。
