A silver ring by TLM (Thomas L. Mott), set with a foil glass cabochon.

The foil glass captures a kaleidoscope of colour reminiscent of distant stars, creating a richly layered and luminous effect. To enhance its dreamy, ethereal quality, the cabochon has been softly frosted, giving the surface a gentle, diffused glow.

Delicate pansy motifs adorn the shoulders of the ring, reflecting the careful craftsmanship and attention to detail characteristic of the period.

 

TLM (Thomas L. Mott)

TLM was founded in Birmingham, England, in the late 19th century by Thomas Lee Mott. The company became widely recognised after presenting its butterfly wing jewellery at the 1924 British Empire Exhibition, where the vibrant designs gained considerable popularity both in Britain and abroad. TLM jewellery was crafted by skilled artisans and primarily distributed through jewellers. In 1933, the business was taken over by the Birmingham firm A.E. Jones.

TLMのフォイルグラスカボションをあしらったシルバーリング。

宇宙の星々や万華鏡を思わせるカラフルな輝きを閉じ込めたフォイルグラス。幻想的な印象をより一層引き立てるため、カボションにはやわらかなフロスト加工が施されています。

サイドには可憐なパンジーの花のモチーフが添えられ、細部まで丁寧につくられたデザインです。
