A charming French edition featuring three well-loved traditional English tales — including the familiar story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
The other two stories included are The Little Red Hen and The Three Little Kittens, all of which were widely told and cherished throughout the mid-20th century.

こちらは1953年にパリで出版されたフランス語版。同時期に英語圏でも刊行されていたと見られ、時代を感じる挿絵が魅力です。
「三びきのくま」と「三びきの小さな猫」はJackie Peller（ジャッキー・ペラー）が担当。温かみのある線と表情豊かなキャラクターが可愛いです。 「小さな赤いめんどり」は、フランス児童書界で知られるManon Iessel（マノン・イッセル）による挿絵。
