Alice Caviness was a costume jewellery brand founded in New York in 1943 by former fashion model Alice Caviness. In the mid-1950s, designer Camille Petronzio — who later became known for her work with Miriam Haskell — joined the company and helped create many of its distinctive and high-quality designs. Compared to other vintage costume jewellery brands, Alice Caviness pieces were produced in relatively small numbers and sold primarily through high-end boutiques, making them highly sought after by collectors today.
