A miniature photo frame decorated with beautiful guilloché enamel.
Guilloché is a decorative technique in which fine patterns are engraved into metal and then covered with enamel. The engraved pattern subtly shows through the enamel, creating depth and movement as it catches the light.
This photo frame features delicate wave-like guilloché engraving beneath white enamel, with a pink rose motif painted on top.
Inside are portraits of an elegant man and woman, believed to be model photographs originally inserted by the maker at the time of sale.
The photographs are covered with a clear protective film, and neither the photographs nor the film could be removed. However, there is a small gap between the frame and the film, allowing a new photograph to be placed on top if desired.
Its compact, pocket-sized form makes it easy to slip into a bag and carry with you.

美しいギヨシェエナメルが施された、ミニサイズのフォトフレーム。
ギヨシェとは、金属に細かい模様を彫り、その上からエナメルを重ねる装飾技法です。
こちらのフォトフレームにも、細かな波のようなギヨシェ模様の上に白いエナメルが施され、さらにその上からピンクの薔薇のモチーフがペイントされています。
開くと美男美女の写真が入っていますが、こちらは当時このフォトフレームの販売元が元から入れていたモデル写真と思われます。
写真は透明の保護フィルムで覆われており、写真・フィルムともに取り外すことはできませんでした。
ただし、フレームとフィルムの間にはわずかな隙間があるため、この上から新しい写真を重ねて入れることは可能です。
ポケットに収まる小さなサイズで、バッグに忍ばせて持ち歩くこともできます。
