An antique bisque sailor boy doll from around the 1900s–20s.

The doll is dressed in a white sailor suit with a blue collar and ribbon, and has soft blonde hair and a simple, charming expression.

Dressing young boys in sailor suits became fashionable in the late 19th century after Queen Victoria famously dressed a young prince in naval-style clothing.

The arms and legs are joined with wire and can be gently moved, adding to the doll’s sweet and charming expression.

1900〜20年代頃のセーラーボーイのアンティークビスクドール。

ホワイトにブルーの襟とリボンがついたセーラー服を着た、ふわふわブロンドヘアの男の子のお人形です。

良家の男の子がセーラー服を着るスタイルは、19世紀後半にヴィクトリア女王が王子にセーラー服を着せたことで流行したと言われています。

腕と足はワイヤーで繋がれており、動かせる作りになっています。

素朴で可愛らしい表情も魅力です。
